To solve the approval delay, we need a system that knows how to "sleep" and "wake up."
Here is the logic flow we are implementing today:
Inputs: We request all employee data (Name, Role, Department).
Enable Stateful: We activate the "Stateful" check at the start. This gives us a unique
Stateful ID. We need this ID to wake up the process later.The Query: We read our UDC/RefX from yesterday. Who is the boss? (Remember the HR fallback!).
The Notification: We send an email to that Manager.
The key: The email contains a link to the Orchestrator passing the
Stateful ID.The message: "Click here to approve access for [Name]."
THE PAUSE: The Orchestrator stops. It goes to sleep.
The system is now waiting. It consumes zero resources. It doesn't matter if the boss takes 5 minutes or 5 days to click that link. The session is preserved.
This is how you digitize bureaucracy.
